History
The Association was formed (prior to its incorporation in August 2013) to support the Abruzzese Emigrant Association of Australia raise funds (with the support of Lottery West) and complete the Community Pavilion Project at Ozone Park, East Perth in collaboration with the City of Perth. The Pavilion was opened on 23 March 2014.
Since then, in collaboration with various culturally diverse communities, WAMA has supported new and emerging communities to build capacity by providing information and education programs. WAMA has coordinated and participated in a range of events including:

Cultural information sessions
Workshops and education programs for culturally and linguistically diverse communities, service providers and seniors
